The Venue

The Ritz Theater is a 250 seat proscenium stage theater in the heart of the Northeast Minneapolis Arts District. The theater was built in 1926 with a major renovation in 2005. The Ritz offers a full concessions area with food and beverages offerings provided in partnership with Surdyk's catering. From theater to dance to a popular event space for weddings or family gatherings, the Ritz Theater makes a perfect destination surrounded by a growing and increasingly hip restaurant and brewery scene.

The Ritz is available for annual meetings, concerts, corporate events, entertainment, fundraisers, graduations, holiday celebrations, musicals, plays, presentations, private parties, special performances and much more!
